How do I set up two-factor authentication for VPN?

There’s a full guide that walks through how to enable two-factor authentication specifically for Barracuda SSL VPN systems using RADIUS integration and Protectimus tokens. It explains how to connect the Barracuda SSL VPN to a Protectimus RADIUS server, configure the authentication parameters, and issue tokens to users. You can find all those instructions here barracuda mfa . The tutorial includes screenshots, setup steps for both Protectimus Cloud and On-Premise MFA solutions, and even a troubleshooting section for common mistakes.

That’s really helpful! The idea of having a dynamic one-time password adds an important extra layer of security. Even if someone steals a password, without the physical or app-based token they can’t log in. I think this could make a big difference, especially for employees connecting from home networks that aren’t always well protected.

We’re in the process of redesigning our company’s access management, and Barracuda SSL VPN is a core part of it. Our IT team wants to move beyond passwords and start using hardware tokens for verification. I’ve read that integrating 2FA can significantly reduce breaches, but I’m not sure which steps are required to configure it properly for Barracuda VPN.
