- If you apply online and choose NBI appointment at nbiclearancesonline.com, the processing is usually 15 to 30 minutes at the NBI branch, provided there are no hits (no namesake or criminal record issue).
- Printing of the clearance is same day release if your record is clear.
2. With “Hit” Status
- If your name matches someone in the NBI records, your application will undergo manual verification.
- This can take 5 to 15 working days, depending on the case load.
3. Online Application vs Walk-In
- Online Appointment – Faster, since your details are already in the system.
- Walk-In (not recommended) – May take longer due to encoding, but most branches strictly follow the “No Appointment, No Entry” policy.
