At Sumo Apps, safeguarding your information is a top priority for us. In our commitment to providing, maintaining, protecting, and enhancing our services, we collaborate with various partners, vendors, and trusted organizations—collectively referred to as "Service Providers." These collaborations allow us to process information on your behalf while ensuring it aligns with our strict instructions, Privacy Policy, and other confidentiality and security measures.
Our dedication to transparency drives us to share details about the Service Providers we work with. This article serves as a comprehensive guide, offering insights into the data shared with or received from these partners, the specific services they provide to Sumo Apps, and links to their respective privacy policies or governing documents outlining their data-handling practices.
As with any organization, we also employ essential internal tools—commonly known as "IT" business services, including Gmail, Google Drive, Asana, and Slack—to streamline our operations. While these tools may inadvertently contain personal information, rest assured that we apply the same stringent Service Provider restrictions, which are detailed in a separate chart below.
3rd party authentication options are optional and available at sumo.app/login. Consistent with SSO protocols, authentication providers are tasked with presenting the specific information that we gather from users during the login process and user consent is obtained for each piece of personal data collected. We adhere to a policy of minimal data collection, limited to essential login-related details such as email address, name, and profile picture.
Furthermore, our engagement with vendors extends to the maintenance and operation of the Sumo Apps corporate website, distinct from the logged-in areas within the Sumo Apps services. The vendors utilized for our corporate website are outlined separately below the chart dedicated to the Sumo Apps services.
