I’m currently evaluating Exchange Online Plan 1 vs Plan 2 for my organization, and I’m trying to figure out which one makes the most sense.
From what I understand:
- Plan 1 is more budget-friendly but comes with a 50 GB mailbox.
- Plan 2 costs more but offers a 100 GB primary mailbox, an unlimited archive (1.5 TB auto-expanding), and extra features like Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
For businesses that don’t need the advanced compliance features, Plan 1 might be enough. But if you’re managing a large environment with heavy mail storage or strict compliance needs, Plan 2 could be the safer choice.
