Offline ideas for kids – is coloring worth it?

So lately I’ve been struggling with keeping my 6-year-old away from screens. Between online classes and the constant pull of cartoons, I feel like I’m losing the battle. I’ve been looking for more offline activities to keep her engaged. While scrolling a parenting blog, I stumbled across this site with coloring pages. It looked pretty promising, but I’m not sure how varied or age-appropriate the content is. Has anyone tried it? Are the pages good enough to actually keep kids interested beyond five minutes? I’d love any tips or feedback.

Oh wow, I’ve been in the same boat with my niece lately. Would love to try this out. Appreciate the info!

Yeah, I’ve actually used that site with my two kids, and it’s been surprisingly effective. There’s a really wide range of designs, from simple ones for toddlers to more detailed pages for older kids. What I like is that everything’s easy to print, and the themes keep them coming back — dinosaurs one day, space rockets the next. It’s helped cut down screen time in my house too, especially when I sit down and color with them for a bit.
