I’ve been a registered nurse for 7 years now, mostly working in a local hospital’s ER department. Recently, I’ve been feeling burnt out with the same routines and environment. While browsing online for alternative opportunities, I stumbled upon a link about a traveling nurse position, and it really caught my attention. The idea of exploring new places while still doing what I love seems exciting, but I have a lot of questions. How does the pay compare to regular nursing? Are the assignments usually long-term or short-term? And how do you deal with constantly adjusting to new workplaces and teams? I’d really appreciate advice from anyone who’s been there.
